I heard about AJ’s Taxidermy from a friend. I met Steve an could see right away he has a passion for his work as a taxidermist and his mounts are some of the finest I’ve seen. I put my trust in Steve to mount the biggest buck of my life and I’m very glad I did. My whitetail mount is outstanding! The big 8 point looks so real and natural I keep expecting it to blink. I brought Steve a set of moose that he said he could do something nice with. Boy, he wasn't kidding !! He brought color back to them like the day they were dropped. I had a stuffed baboon's head for the past 60 years. It was filthy and in terrible shape. Steve did a fabulous job cleaning and touching up the gums. It looks more realistic than ever before. I couldn't have been happier with the job he did for me.

I brought Steve my first deer, I am 13 years old. It was a spike horn. I was really excited when I got it. When I brought it to Steve he congratulated me, he told me that he would have it done as soon as possible. What do you know he surprised me with getting it done right before Christmas. So that my parents could pick it up and surprise me when I got home, I was really surprised. It felt like a present from Steve. I looked at it and I knew that it looked really good. Thanks Steve for the great job on my Nov 2014 Whitetail Mount. I have always been impressed with detail in muscle tone on mounts. Excellent job in this area. Great work around eyes and nose as well.
